We would like to extend our humblest how-do-you-dos and bid you welcome to "Up to the Hour," a multi-person, multi-purpose place where we'll be putting up all the stuff that won't fit in print. Or that's not fit to print. Or both. You will find contributions from Hour writers both regular and, as is the case more often than not, irregular, as well as the predatorial staff. The idea is to keep it fast, fun and easy. Just like us.

We're going to keep it very regular, because at our age it's important to stay regular, and we will also be stubbornly, steadfastly all over the map.
